College students can experience difficulties that undermine success in their personal and academic lives. The Counseling & Psychological Services (CAPS) staff are here to assist students and enhance their emotional, developmental and relational health and growth.

YOU at Eastern

Counseling & Psychological Services (CAPS) has a new wellness platform called You@Eastern which has access to a number of personalized wellness tools for you. It connects you to both Eastern and professional psychologist-vetted resources.

Mission Statement: The mission of Counseling and Psychological Services is to provide a resource for the students of Eastern who are in need of information, support, consultation and /or clinical intervention. It is the belief of our professional staff that an essential part of a student’s education involves developing an understanding of themselves and how they interact with the world around them. Ultimately, our services are designed to help students mature and work toward obtaining more fulfilling educational, vocational and personal lives during their time at Eastern and beyond. Although our primary goal is to serve the mental health and developmental needs of students, we also serve as a source of information, consultation and support to faculty and staff.
