Off-campus studies range from taking a semester at another university in the United States through the National Student Exchange Program to studying for a semester at a university abroad. Another popular option is a Global Field Course, where you and your classmates travel with faculty for intensive field study in locations ranging from the Grand Canyon to Italy, Australia and Iceland. Off-campus study will expand your horizons, immerse you in new cultures and provide opportunities to meet new friends and explore the world.

Lauren studied abroad in London, England, while a student at Eastern. She noted that besides meeting other American students at the University of Roehampton, she also encountered many students from Australia who were studying abroad as well. Chelsy studied abroad in Greece. “My coursework at Hellenic American University in Athens included a class called Athens Across the Ages. It was great because each session was held at a different location in Athens. It was intriguing to study there as a political science major since Athens is known as the birthplace of democracy and because of the current political climate.”
