Substitutions or Waivers of Requirements

Any substitution or waiver of major requirements must be approved by the chairperson of the department in which the student is a major. Appeals for specific course waivers or substitutions for the Liberal Arts Core Curriculum may be approved by the Academic Success Center – Advising. All approved substitutions or waivers must be filed in writing with the Registrar’s Office.

The student will need to fill out an Academic Appeal Form which is found on the Academic Success Center – Advising website.
