Public Relations

The Director of University Relations is the University’s official spokesperson.

The Public Relations team implements the University's news media strategies. It identifies, fosters and creates newsworthy opportunities for local, state and national news media to highlight the services, programs, activities and accomplishments of Eastern Connecticut State University 's students, faculty, staff, and administration.

Media priorities are developed in accordance with the University's Strategic Plan, the president's vision, and the University's program initiatives to ensure that all communications reflect brand consistency and Eastern's mission.

Faculty and staff should consult with the public relations team to request news releases, feature articles and media advisories for their events.
