The Megan L. Kleczka Memorial Endowed Scholarship was established in 2008 in memory of Megan Kleczka, who lost her life in 2007 while a student at Eastern. Megan was passionate about issues related to women’s health, safety, equality and justice. Recipients of the scholarship are full-time students in good academic standing at Eastern and committed to women’s social issues such as sexual health education, sexual assault services and/or reproductive justice. Preference is given to students in the field of women’s studies, social work or sociology with unmet financial need.
