Dr. Sukeshini Grandhi
Professor, Business Administration
Program Coordinator
Dr. Grandhi is interested in user experience (UX) and consumer behavior; specifically, she looks to gain an understanding of how people use products and services. She draws on theories from several disciplines such as communication, social psychology, cognitive science, computer science and semiotics.
Dr. Fatma Pakdil
Professor, Business Administration
Program Faculty
Dr. Pakdil’s research interests span statistical process control, quality engineering, Six Sigma, lean production and management, and quality improvement in healthcare. She wrote the book Performance Leadership with Dr. Leonard by Business Expert Press and the textbook titled Six Sigma for Students: A Problem Solving Methodology published by Palgrave-Macmillan and Springer in December 2020.
Nahyun Oh
Assistant Professor, Business Administration

Before coming to Eastern, Dr. Oh worked at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign as a postdoctoral research associate after receiving her Ph.D. in Business Administration (Concentration: Strategic Management and Entrepreneurship) from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2018. Dr. Oh is interested in exploring the organizational design and structure of hybrid organizations. Her primary research area is social entrepreneurship, which investigates the entrepreneurial activities of social ventures and social entrepreneurs. Additional research areas include entrepreneurial finance and sustainability.
Linda Ferraro
Lecturer, Business Administration

Linda W. Ferraro has extensive talent, HR, and leadership development experience – internal to and consulting with – manufacturing, technology, financial, aerospace and pharmaceutical organizations. As an educator, she has a passion for encouraging students to “stretch yourself to grow” as an HR driver, community member and next-generation learner through self-reflection, curiosity and attention to equitable treatment in organizations. She is also a board leader for the Society for Human Resources (SHRM) Leadership Association of Eastern Connecticut (2020-present), serving as Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) VP.
Dana Dowdell
Lecturer, Business Administration

Dana Dowdell has been an experienced educator and entrepreneur in the human resources field since 2011. She earned her bachelor’s in Business Administration and master’s in Human Resources and Labor Relations from the University of Rhode Island, as well as received her SHRM-CP certification from the Society of Human Resource Management. In addition to being an educator at both Eastern Connecticut State University and the University of Rhode Island, she is the owner of Boss Consulting HR, LLC and host of the Quirky HR podcast.
