Graduation Information
If you are getting ready to graduate, here are some things you need to know:
Applying to Graduate
- All undergraduate students are required to apply for graduation. Please visit the Graduation Application page for information and to apply if you have not already done so.
- Review your degree evaluation (found via eWeb) & consult with your Faculty Advisor(s) and/or the Academic Services Center before filling out the graduation application.
- If you are planning to earn an additional degree, major, minor or teacher certification following the awarding of the first degree. Please submit an Application for Continued Undergraduate Enrollment form found on the Continued Enrollment web page and an application for degree.
- Earning a Second Degree requires 150 overall credits.
Application Due Dates
Completed undergraduate applications are due prior to the anticipated semester of graduation:

Commencement Ceremony
- Visit the Commencement web site
- The graduation is held once a year after final exams in May
- Students who have graduated in December are encouraged to participate in commencement the May after they graduate
- Students who apply for August graduation will be permitted to participate in the preceding May commencement ceremony provided their initial audit shows they are approved
- Your degree evaluation will show what commencement ceremony you are approved to participate in
Diplomas
- A diploma will be issued after the Registrar has determined that a student meets all requirements for graduation. The student will receive and email officially awarding their degree at which point they can request to have it mailed. *Students with outstanding financial obligations at the time of graduation will not receive their diploma until their accounts are settled*
