The Elizabeth Y. & William P. Kelly ’82 Endowed Scholarship Fund was established by Bill and Elizabeth Kelly in 2014 and endowed in December 2015. Bill has risen in a financial career to supervising securities lending throughout the world for international financial corporation Bank of New York Mellon. He and Elizabeth met as Eastern students, and he attributes much of his career and personal success to his academic and athletic experience at Eastern as a dual Economics and Public Policy major and leading varsity soccer player. The Kelly scholarship will be awarded to in-state students in good academic standing who have financial need and are active in extracurricular activities on campus.
