Eastern Tells Its Story in Suburban Newspapers

ad

adWhile Connecticut still has a handful of daily newspapers in Hartford, New Haven, Danbury, Waterbury and even Willimantic, many residents of the Nutmeg State turn to the local weekly and monthly newspapers for local news. While we can depend on The Hartford Courant, the Danbury News-Times and other dailies to cover state, national and international news, local weeklies are great places to hear about local events, school activities and other hometown news.

Weeklies tend to stay on coffee tables much longer than a daily newspaper and offer great value for advertisers. That is why Eastern has been advertising in weekly newspapers in Fairfield County, along the shore east of New Haven, and in suburbs around Hartford for years.  In all, we have advertised in 20 weeklies this year, with a total household reach of more than 200,000 homes and total impressions of more than two million. This is in addition to ads in the Hartford Courant, NPR, CPTV, and other print, radio and digital media.
