Confidentiality

All student medical records maintained by Student Health Services are confidential. No one other than full time staff members have access to them. Student workers at our office are not permitted to view any medical records of currently enrolled students at any time. No one will be given information from student medical records without a student's written consent. Medical records are kept on file for seven years from the date a student permanently leaves Eastern after which they are destroyed. Please read further information about your rights and responsibilities as a patient at the Student Health Service office.
