The Office of Wellness Education and Promotion works to support ECSU students, enhancing the capacity for academic and personal success by emphasizing physical, intellectual, financial, occupational, environmental, social and spiritual wellbeing.  Below are links to the vast resources provided to students on Eastern's Campus.
  • Thank you for your interest in the Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) of Eastern!

    Students can sometimes experience difficulties that undermine success in both their personal and academic lives. The staff at CAPS are here to assist students with their concerns and to enhance the emotional, developmental, and relational aspects of students' health and growth through the different services offered.

    Counseling and Psychological Services

  • The Financial Aid Office at Eastern Connecticut State University assists parents and students who might not otherwise be able to meet their educational expenses. The staff in the Financial Aid Office is available to assist students, both current and prospective, in determining their eligibility for available financial aid.
    Bursars Office

    The Bursar's Office is responsible for the billing and collection of tuition and fees as well as other cash receipts for the University. This includes managing delinquent accounts collection and the Perkins Loan Program.
  • The Center for Internships and Career Development offers counseling and resources to actively engage students in the lifelong process of career development by:
    • Promoting self-awareness and career exploration.
    • Linking students with employers and career opportunities.
    • Encouraging pre-professional experiences and internships.
    • Teaching integrative life planning, job search, and career goal-setting skills.
  • The Interfaith Campus Ministry is comprised of Windham area clergy representing different faith backgrounds who offer their time and talents in meeting the spiritual needs of the Eastern Community.

    The Interfaith Campus Ministry provides spiritual opportunities for Eastern students, faculty and staff of religiously diverse backgrounds while adhering to the traditional separation of church and state.

    The Interfaith Campus Ministry operates out of the Interfaith Center located at Knight House. The campus ministers provide spiritual guidance by appointment. An appointment may be obtained by calling 860-423-0856. Voicemail is available 24/7. The Center is also the site for religious observances, support group meetings, leadership seminars and social events.

  • The Advising Center provides a variety of advising and academic support services for full-time undergraduate students, including the administration of a comprehensive dual-advising program for first-year students, as well as new first-year and transfer student advising and registration. The Center educates students about their academic responsibility; academic programs, policies and procedures, integrating available resources at the University, and strategies for addressing their academic and personal concerns. In addition, the Center collaborates with the various academic departments to coordinate the University's faculty advising system.

    The Academic Success Center provides educational support for all Eastern students. It treats each student respectfully as an individual with unique talents. The Center provides advising and tutoring services to enhance students' achievements as they strive for academic excellence
  • The Institute for Sustainable Energy focuses on matters relating to energy education, energy policy, energy efficiency, energy conservation and load management, renewable energy, distributed generation, protection of environmental resources, and the dissemination of useful information on energy alternatives and sustainability to users and providers of energy. The Institute adds an unbiased focus on practical applications and dissemination of information about how to improve the energy profile and sustainability of Connecticut and the region.

    Connecticut Energy Education

    We are a curriculum resource for educators featuring the energy topics in the Connecticut high school curriculum. Issues and topics are explored with a Connecticut focus, and with an emphasis on solutions that students can implement. We offer information, lessons, labs and activities in:
