Eastern Connecticut State University Veteran Alumni, community members, and others want to encourage, assist, and enable Veterans attending school at Eastern Connecticut State University and have sponsored this scholarship as a way to thank you for your commitment to your country and community.

Students who are receiving a book allowance (i.e. Vocational Rehabilitation, or by other means) are not eligible to apply for this scholarship. The purpose of this scholarship is to assist Veteran and Active Duty Military Students at Eastern Connecticut State University with the cost of their books, up to three hundred dollars.

To Be Considered: Scholarship application packet must be received by the VETS Center no later than the first day of each semester (first day of class). Scholarship application packet consists of:

• Completed application
• Copy of your Resume
• Proof of Service

Students are encouraged to file the FAFSA by March 1
