The ECSU Alumni Association Board of Directors voted in 2015 to form the Alumni Association Endowed Scholarship by merging two existing endowed funds, The Alumni Centennial Endowed Fund and The Alumni Center Endowed Fund. The resulting scholarship is used to improve the retention of academically high achieving students with demonstrated financial need. Criteria for the scholarship reflect those stipulations – it will be awarded to upperclass students with demonstrated financial need and high academic achievement.
