Celeste Prussia ’83 created the Alf E. Dyrland Memorial Scholarship in memory of her late husband. Its aim is to preserve the quality of the environment and continue Mr. Dyrland’s goals and desires through present-day students. It is awarded to a biology major who has unmet financial need and is actively involved in a non-paid internship/practicum or research project directly related to the environment, either in a lab/field experience or the Tropical Biology course.
